What`s about? The Klaipeda Science and Technology Park (KSTP) invite us for a presentation of their since 2004 existing and utmost successful project.

What is KSTP ? At present the KSTP is more than 40 companies, public enterprises and branches of international companies acting in the innovative environment on the global market.

The objective of the KSTP is to gather “ under one roof “ progressive thinking people and companies, who aim to be the creators of the future in the region. People, who generate ideas and seek to implement them into businesses; The KSTP is the center of innovation in the Klaipeda Region.

The mission of the KSTP is to promote the development of modern scientifically susceptible technologies, to provide infrastructural and consulting services for innovative enterprises and business in the western Lithuania as well as in the whole country.

KSTP will host our registered visitors.

Where ? The Klaipeda University, ( New faculty building, left of the parking area, conference room 101 )

Networking meeting - May

Dear Members and Friends of the Club.

KIBC invites you for the regular

NETWORKING MEETING

Thursday the 3rd of May 2012 in hotel RADISSON BLU.

The meeting will start at 19:00 in the conference area in second floor, where the guest speaker Director Mr.Marius Jonusas, Danske Bankas will give a short presentation of the bank and also comment the actual situation for the banks in Lithuania and their interest for doing business in and from Lithuania.

Other items will be discussed and your related question is welcome.

The meeting will continue in the KIBC Networking area, where snacks will be served and you can order beverage for payment.

Participation in this Networking arrangement is free of charge for Members and for non-members a charge of LT 15 will apply.

GENERAL MEETING

K I B C inviting to the General Meeting for Members the 15th of March 2012, at 19:00.

The meeting take place in the conference area in hotel Radisson Blu, Sauliu gatve 28, Klaipeda.

Klaipeda International Business Club is now formely registered as an association with new advantages and perspectives for the future; but also with new rules, Articles of Association, which are to follow.

We kindly ask all the Members to familiarise your selfs with the contents of the new documents.

It is now up to the Members and the Board to get the new Articles of Association ( bylaws ) inclusive their Clarifications implemented.

Members will receive the General Meeting agenda and documents by e-mail.

Meet the Mayor...

Meet the Mayor.. and Networking meeting on the 1^st of March was a success!

The Municipality was represented by Mr. Richardas Zulcas, director of department for Investment and Economy and Mr. Simonas Gentvilas, Advisor to the Mayor.

The Members of KIBC and the guests got an informative presentation clearly stating what the municipality of Klaipeda did during the last years and what is planned in the future. The demographic development as well as a general view about the budgetary possibilities was presented.

Member’s questions were covered or noted for later answer. But few questions also showed gaps caused by misunderstandings or by the fact that not always information is given in a sufficient way to the companies KIBC represent.

Out of this aspect KIBC appreciate very much to be invited to join the future planning committee with one of our Members.

Of course the 35 participants were a little bit disappointed, that our Mayor was unable to join the event, but we will keep in mind his promise to meet at another occasion in the future.
