Board meeting - January

The regular KIBC Board meeting was held on the 26st of January 2012.

Here you find a short protocol with items discussed and the status.

The website address, KIBC, is now finally handed over to the Club.

The bylaws will be adjusted to the fact, that the Club is now an association.

Clarifications are made to the new standard Articles of Association rules, which together with the Clarifications will make up the entirety of the new bylaws for the Club.

The new bylaws will be send to the Members together with the official invitation for the General Meeting on 15th of March 2012.

For a long time we have worked on having a meeting with the Klaipeda Municipality, which has now succeeded.

On the 1st of March there will be a meeting with Klaipeda’s mayor Mr. Vytaytas Grubliauskas. Details will follow with a separate invitation.

Further upcoming events were discussed, as follows:

Presentation of the Klaipeda University Science Park. Proposed date 27.03.2012.

Evaluation on the present economical situation, by the Director of  Danske Bankas, scheduled for April.

Future projects are,

Meeting with Harbor authorities

Meet the Lithuanian Navy

Excursion to Curonian Spit

Payment of membership fee

The membership fee for this year is LT 200

Board Meeting

KIBC had its regular Board meeting 24th of November 2011 and we would like to informe you in brief of the outcome,

Christmas Party :

Final arrangements with Radisson Blu was discussed and implemented.

Website :

The process of further development is ongoing. Gabs which are under development will be closed as soon as possible.

Membership :

The Board met Mr. Amit S. Gogate and welcomed him as new Member. Amit will introduce himself to the Members present at the next regular meeting on the 1st of December at Radisson Blu.

New KIBC web page

Beginning October Board contacted a new IT – partner for establishing of a professional KIBC web page.

Fixed time and price was agreed and the web page has been successfully implemented.

Housing Agreement

on .

KIBC has entered an agreement with RADISSON BLU, Klaipeda for housing all meetings and KIBC events.

This means that meeting activities

  • for the Board,
  • members regular networking meeting on the first Thursday of month,
  • KIBC arranged business or social / cultural events

will be hosted by RADISSON BLU in their facilities.
